Just as he managed incite excitement for the River Cats before they built their Stadium in Downtown Sacramento, Tessler's vision and architectural renderings inspired the financial backing for the building of the

stadium near Cal Expo which would become the home of the Sacramento Republic FC.

There have been several architectural renderings and concepts done for the Sacramento Republic FS over the past several years and John helped to design the look and feel of the stadium and its components.

Before the actual stadium was built, john produced the illustration below, to give investors a clear idea of what it would be like to sit in the stands at a game. The Republic got its investment capitol and was able to fund the actual stadium based, in part on john's renderings.
